I caught a great line up at the Shark Bar on the G.C. on Friday. The bill included The Sea Shall Not Have Them, The Matador, Mr.Maps and Sleepmakeswaves. I enjoyed the night, I picked up a couple of the bands records and I drove home satisfied.
Sometime last year ‘The Bleeding Knees Club’ came into the studio to work on a 7”. However with all touring and the recording of their debut album in NYC the recording was shelved ….. I was pretty sure these recordings would never be released.
So when I got an email later in the year from the band telling me one of the tracks I had produced, would appear on their international debut ‘Nothing to Do’ in early 2012, I was so hyped.
The track is called ”Lipstick”. I hope you enjoy it.
“The Sea Shall Not Have Them” released a free download today from their forthcoming album. ‘MOUTH’. Click the pic to take a listen.
Loustar comes to the studio now and then to finish off her tracks. Lou is a super focussed human. This photo was taken at her Big Day Out show last week, as she took time out from planning world domination to cook up a storm in the boiler room.
